I don’t sell photographs online and there is no shop here. Everything below happens by email, one conversation at a time.

Exhibitions

This is the one I would most like to hear about. If you run a gallery, a festival, a foyer, a conference or a space that shows work, and any of this belongs on your wall, write to me. Fifty years, sixteen countries, and a body of work that has never been shown properly in one room.

Prints

Prints exist and I am happy to arrange one. Tell me which photograph and roughly what size and I will have it made by a professional lab and sent to you. No price list, no cart, no shipping calculator — it is a conversation, not a transaction.

Project stories

I spent twenty-two years at a multilateral development bank financing clean energy and infrastructure, across more than fifteen countries. I know what a project looks like from the inside.

What interests me is photographing that properly — the people a project was built for, the build itself, and what changes in a life once it works. Project books, impact stories, long-form work. I would rather spend real time with a project than fly in for an afternoon.

I am not actively looking for commissions. But this is where my heart lies, and if you have a project where an infrastructure eye and a camera would be useful, write to me.

Difficult briefs

If a job is straightforward, there are plenty of photographers who can do it. Talk to me when it isn’t — a portrait that has to carry one specific idea and no other, a site where the light is bad and the access is worse, a subject that has to be understood before it can be photographed at all.

Team days and leadership offsites

This is the corporate work I genuinely enjoy. Executive team-building, leadership offsites, staff retreats. People stop performing for the camera the moment they are busy doing something slightly ridiculous alongside someone they normally only email — that is when the photographs worth keeping happen, not in the lined-up group shot at the end.

I travel for these, and that is the point. Somewhere difficult to get to is more interesting to me, not less, and I photograph the place as well as the people.

Portrait sittings

Editorial, fashion and studio portraiture in Sydney and Manila, by arrangement and in limited numbers. Much of the portrait work shown on this site was made collaboratively with models and stylists rather than on commission, and I would rather say so plainly than imply otherwise.

What I don’t do

Weddings, family sessions and event packages. There are photographers who do that far better than I would, and who want the work more.
